Rainforest Roadshow

Once again it was wonderful to invite ‘Rainforest Dave’ back to BGS to share an exciting day with Year 4. Dave, a rainforest expert and enthusiast, wowed the children with his knowledge and experiences of rainforest life; the amazing people he has met and wildlife he has encountered. He demonstrated shooting a blowpipe after sharpening the darts on piranha teeth, used instruments to mimic the call of birds and impressed with a collection of amazing creatures. As well as getting crafty with tribal paint and necklaces, the children enjoyed having the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about such a magnificent biome.
